Haunted Graveyard is a great option if you want to take your children along. Established in 1999, this haunted house was brainchild of Ernie Romegialli, whose daughter was diagnosed with Juvenile diabetes. It serves the dual purpose of giving the visitors a good scare as well donating a part of the tickets sale proceeds to the American Diabetes Association and The Juvenile Research Foundation.
They provide a right mix of scare and fun. You will come across ghosts, goblins, witches and vampires. The horror experience is enhanced with use of fog machines and stroke lights. The set is well done and takes an hour to walk through.

Key Insights:
  • Such a fun place to spend the day.. $25 dollar fee to ride very affordable for every family.
  • Not as large a selection of rides as Lake Compounce, but still a big enough amusement park for my kids to enjoy themselves and have fun.
  • Food is a little overpriced (most options between $13-14 for a small basket of food) and drinks should be included in the season passes in my opinion, as a small narrowing sized cup was $9, and refills cost $2.50 when a cup of the "Jumbo" size drink was $7.50.
  • Feed your kids before you come, or have food in a cooler at the car as you can re-enter as long as you're stamped or wearing a wristband/pass for the day re-entry, and you'll have more for spending on games or other fun..
  • It's a smaller amusement park but we loved that it wasn't overwhelming and we were able to hit every ride in both areas by the end of the day (we did go on a Tuesday to avoid the crowds and it was worth it).
