Lyman Orchards really is a big deal! From a modest working farm to the huge family attraction it is today, it has much to offer families.
“In their wildest dreams, colonial farmer John Lyman and his wife, Hope, could not have envisioned the complex and diverse enterprise that would evolve from their purchase in 1741 of a 37-acre parcel of land in what is now Middlefield. Now covering more than 1,100 acres of scenic farmland, Lyman Orchards is one of the most popular family attractions in New England.
Wonderfully delicious, bright red-colored raspberries are among the most popular berries grown worldwide. They are a rich source of health promoting nutrients, minerals and vitamins as well as dietary fiber and antioxidants. Raspberry picking is a great family friendly activity!”

Key Insights:
The a-MAZE-ing Beer Tasting at Lyman Orchards’ Rock and Roll 🎸 themed corn maze did not disappoint!
The apple varietals orchard are open at peak maturity insuring great eating and picking experience.
They have a wide variety of items (vegetables, soups, pasta, kettle corn, fudge, pies, donuts, ciders) and of course apples.
Great photo opportunities and a place to create memories, I've gone since I was a child and continue to go every autumn if i can!.
In addition, they had a large array of bakery goods and baking supplies, as well as a counter with fresh pastries.
