Beardsley’s Cider Mill

Local Honey
At Beardsley’s Cider Mill they are committed to providing the local community with fresh, local produce.
“In an effort to provide the growing community with a fresh, local commodity, and to preserve the farm land from being developed, we have rejuvenated the existing orchards. We have over 10,000 dwarf apple trees in our Pick-Your-Own Orchard and over 400 peach, nectarine and plum trees on our farm. We are re-planting thousands of dwarf apple trees in our fields for our Pick-Your-Own orchard. The trees will only grow to a maximum of 10 to 12 feet for easy picking. We offer PYO apples on weekends and sometimes Columbus Day if ripe fruit is available.

Key Insights:
  • Just take note, if you are going apple picking you will need cash at the orchard gate or have to go back up to the store area to use the ATM.
  • Every weekend during harvest season there are different varieties available, making it worth coming back for repeat trips.
  • Cider donuts were ok. Has a little distillery barn for cocktails and spirits tasting that had live music this Saturday afternoon.. Sticking to Lyman's and Blue Jay, crotchety owner thinks his apples are gold citing non-existent handbag policies.
  • Parking system is unfair, was told by a nasty kid that the lot was full and to come back, meanwhile a soon as I passed kid let cars in behind me (I was later told because I did not have other people in my car), I drove got a spot and dealt with a miserable girl at the register, they wanted $17 for a bag of bruised apples, the cider was rancid and a day later the Donuts are sitting in my stomach.
  • The highlight for us is the home made freshly baked apple cider donuts..they are amazing!!!!
