Pettit Creek Farms - “Nestled in the foothills of North Georgia, lies the home of the largest camel herd in Georgia. Along with camels and many of your common farm animals, our farm is home to many exotic animals such as giraffes, zebras, capybaras, lemurs, llamas and more from around the globe! (Psst…several of Santa’s reindeer make Pettit Creek their second home when not busy pulling Santa’s sleigh.)
Our working farm is open for tours daily by reservation only January -August. We also host two annual farm celebrations, PumpkinFest mid-September through October - Corn maze, pony rides, scare crow building, petting zoo, giraffe feeding and more will be available. A Country Christmas, which opens Thanksgiving at 6 PM and continues through December 30.
We also host events of all sizes throughout the year. Everyone is welcome - no group too small or too large! We offer open fields for games, picnic tables under the oaks, Petting Zoo, Inflatable bounces, and; most important of all, the Hayride Tour itself! We host Corporate Outings, Church Groups, & Class Reunions! Pettit Creek Farms offers plenty of “down home”

Key Insights:
- The parking lot is a little bit of a hike from the party area, so just be prepared if you have guests that find it difficult to walk far.
- The basic party package includes pony rides and the petting zoo.
- Loved learning about blacksmith, camel rides, the tree top obstacle course.
- Staff is super kind and helpful and it was so beautiful :^) I got to feed a zebra and pet a giraffe and there was a lot of stuff for kids to do too!
- Feeding the camels and and seeing zebras was pretty neat but other than that it’s not worth $60 for a 20 min ride and 2 bags of food in my opinion.. Great place to visit on Christmas night.
