Family owned farm since 1858. Fausett Farms Sunflowers is located “just south of Burts Pumpkin Farm and Amicalola falls in the North Georgia mountains.
For 60 years the farm’s main business was poultry farming which ended in 2011. Now the farm offers 900,000+ flowers or 30+- acres of beautiful sunflowers for everyone to come out and experience god’s beauty.”

Key Insights:
  • I would suggest some bug repellent for your skin because there were tons of insects due to just the environment.
  • Also kids can enjoy the creek in the front and some play items (tires, etc) in the back.
  • Also, some extra cash is helpful for some of the local vendors that are present ( honey, beeswax lotion, sunflowers, paraphernalia, etc).
  • They also sold honey and sunflower seeds if you wished to get either but it wasn't like they pushed for you to buy.. Was having a rough afternoon, saw this and stopped right before closing time.
  • Certainly worth the trip just a walk around the sunflower fields.. Visit around noon when sun is on your head for good pictures.
