U-Pick Pumpkin Patch is open on weekends from late September through October or until all the Pumpkins are picked.  The U-Pick Pumpkin Patch opens in September.
There are small, mid-size and big pumpkins. (Subject to weather conditions and amount picked) We have planted around 20 varieties of novelty pumpkins plus traditional orange Jack-o-Lantern pumpkins. Pumpkins are located at the Apple Barn and in the field at the U-Pick shed. Pumpkins are priced according to type and size.”

Key Insights:
  • Games to play and a small little farm area for kids to pet a cow.
  • Still maybe the green beans are a really good price in Ellijay.. We loved this place two years ago when we came for apple picking.
  • Last time, they had water dispensers throughout the property which were perfect for warm September in Georgia.
  • This place is not as busy or attraction oriented as other locations which was just the quaint but easy experience we were looking for where the draw is still apple picking and not the peripheral distractions.
  • We have been to several orchards in Elijay and Blue Ridge, but this is our new favorite and we will definitely be returning next year.. First time visiting this apple barn.
