At Huffman and Hawbaker Berry Farm, they aim to provide the best possible U-Pick strawberry experience. The season usually starts in late May and lasts for a few weeks. They say that the earlier the better, as the cold spring weather can push the start of the season.
“Welcome to Huffman & Hawbaker Farms, a Hoosier family farm located in Tippecanoe County, near Lafayette, IN. Family has been a key component to the success of the farm and continues with today’s fifth generation owners and operators. Although change has had an integral influence throughout the generations, our commitment to being good stewards of God’s blessings and to practice sustainable and environmentally responsible farming methods has not changed. The same tradition and focus, as indicated in the mission statement, continues today.”
