“Come to Westminster and visit Baugher’s at our two locations for an exciting day in the country with home cooked food and fun activities for everyone in your family! Plan a fun day to Pick Your Own Fresh Fruit from our orchards. We grow strawberries, cherries, peaches, plums, nectarines, apples and pumpkins for our u-pick customers.
Baugher’s Petting Zoo started collecting & exhibiting animals around 1987. The animals are generally farm livestock, such as lambs, goats, donkey, chickens, rabbits, pigs, turkeys and guinea hens.
You can walk right in the pasture with the friendly and gentle animals, getting up close as possible! Some animals, with more aggressive behavior, are behind a fence, where you can reach in to pet them. There are educational signs about the animals displayed. Two playground sets and a gazebo make the petting zoo an enjoyable place to spend some time. The zoo is within walking distance, right over the hill from our orchard market.”

Key Insights:
- We left with lots of delicious food from their store and learned that Jonathan apples are similar to Macintosh which are my favorites.
- PYO Summer Bliss This weekend we picked the best sweetest cherries ever along with blackberries black currants and gooseberries.
- I absolutely recommend them and don't leave without taking home some of their Apple Cider Donuts and Homemade Pies.
- The line for the apple picking was far too long to wait and we didn't feel comfortable being packed in with so many people when we're still in the midst of a pandemic.
- On a side note, they have ATMs and the store itself takes credit and debit cards, but some of the stalls only took cash.. We love Baugher's!
