Alstede Farms have a sunflower trail.  Traverse our Blooming Giants Sunflower Trail to see these giant beauties up close while capturing the perfect photo as a keepsake.  Visiting the majestic sunflower trail is included with your pick your own admission. Spend the day in the country picking in our fields and orchards learning about how food is grown.  Enjoy abundant panoramic photo opportunities along our scenic tractor drawn wagon rides.  The sunflower trail is open every day in season, typically July through October. Subject to change as crops are weather dependent.”  The Blooming Giants Sunflower Trail - Included with Pick Your Own Admission - Opening Mid July.

Key Insights:
  • They also had a store to buy all types of goodies from homemade salsas, cheeses, honey, produce and desserts.
  • So be prepared to be there all day it does get super busy so the parking and lines get very long I suggest purchasing your tickets online and try to get there early.
  • So many things to do for every member of the family - free access to a petting zoo, a nice outdoor eating area with live band and a gargantuan farm to your heart’s content.
  • I especially love the Peach Cobbler ice cream and roasted corn (summer) and apple cider tea + donuts (Fall).
  • Some things that you need to prep for on peak seasons: long bathroom lines, less tables, rain, overcrowded wagons.
