Happy Day Farm is run by Farmer Tim. “In 2012, Tim took his love and passion for family and farming and purchased an abandoned 70-acre farm in Manalapan, New Jersey which officially launched Happy Day Farm. Tim utilized the portion of land to plant pumpkins and hold Fall Harvest activities including a corn maze, zoo, horse shaped swings, pedal carts and more.
In 2016, Tim purchased an additional 60 acres adjacent to the farm, making Happy Day Farm a total of 130 acres. The farm has now expanded to include u-pick blueberries, raspberries, sunflowers, lavender and zinnias and much more!
In October, the pumpkin patch is open 7 days a week. There is no admission fee to pick a pumpkin on Monday through Thursday. Just pay for what you pick!”

Key Insights:
It’s a good place to visit if you have kids, especially during fall season :) Lots of activities for families to enjoy with tons of photo spots.
Animals in the zoo were sooooo dehydrated, overfed, and exhausted that they would not leave the shade area, lying down and panting their lives out..
My kids favorite was the activities area including slide, paint ball, Pumpkin and corn launcher and the maze most anticipated of the day.
If you go on weekends, and especially in peak season expect to wait on the lines to take pictures with props or do activities..I went mid September and it was pretty busy then itself.
It’s perfect for a day trip.. the farm caters to every season u pick like Lavender, Sunflowers, berries and Pumpkins.
