Strawberry Picking
Terhune Orchards have a farm store that is open all year. They sell “fresh fruits, vegetables, homemade baked goods, local gourmet goodies, jams, and local honey. And don’t miss our own apple cider and apple cider donuts!” They have their own vineyard and winery, with wines made from grapes grown at Terhune Orchards. They run a ‘Read and Pick’ program for kids. “Read and Pick is a great way to introduce your young child to the fun of the farm. Read and Pick is an innovative program that combines hands on experience on the farm with an educational program and listening to a story highlighting that activity.” Check their website for the program schedule.
Terhune Orchards have strawberry picking from late May until early June. Who doesn’t love strawberry picking - it’s the taste of approaching summer!

- Lucy and a Leo Littlebit loved their time here (Saturday in April) with the Easter Bunny hunt.
- As for the everyday experience, I can't speak to it much but the baked goods were delicious, and our Easter guests enjoyed the wine (Front Porch Breeze) the next day!.
- A beautiful photogenic location with lots of free roaming wildlife and “petting zoo” animals.
- I HIGHLY suggest picking your ticket time slot for opening(10 AM on Saturday) as there are less people and you have more freedom to roam without walking around others.
- I’ve enjoyed this place in the past when admission is free, but we purchase snacks and food a la carte… but this event is misleading advertising, and an incredible rip-off.
