Queens County Farm Museum is “one of the longest continually farmed sites in New York State. The farm’s 47-acre historic site has produced food and fed New Yorkers for over three centuries. Queens Farm grows a variety of nutritionally dense and culturally relevant produce using sustainable and best farming practices. The farm’s Agriculture Department and its growing practices teach New Yorkers about where their food comes from and illustrates the broader food system, beginning with the seed and ending with the consumer.”
You can feed the farm’s sheep and goats. Bags of feed can be purchased at the Farm Store. Limited amounts are available each day for the health of the animals.

Everyone absolutely adored the tranquil picture perfect surroundings, love the professional yet personable staff.
My daughter especially had a great time...she even wanted to go closer to see the bees 😂... highly recommend...we will definitely be back!.
We enjoyed the Illuminate the farm event, great for kids, but not really what I expected, we walked around and looked at everything in 30-40 min with my 2yo toddler going slow, they have a "food court" as they call it, nothing especial and very expensive ($7 a spiral fried potato) and also if you want to park in site it's $10 extra dollars.
This working farm turned museum has been an active agricultural unit since pre Revolution America.
Pretty easy to find street parking around here.. Fun little touch of nature for kids and adults.
