The May family has been farming on Long Island since the late 1800’s. They have U-Pick Sweetpeas and Pumpkins, but all other fruit is on the farmstand.
“Originally the farm was located in Melville. In the early 1980’s the operation was moved to its current location at 6361 RT. 25A, Wading River, Long Island, NY. We grow a large selection of annuals and perennials in our greenhouses, which are available at our farm stand. We also sell wholesale to local garden centers and have many years of experience supplying plants to local schools and organizations for fundraising plant sales.
In our fields, we grow many varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables, including sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, melons, cucumbers, squash, string beans, pumpkins and much more. We sell these at our farm stand 7 days a week. In June we open our fields for sweet pea picking. In October, we feature Pumpkin Picking, along with a corn maze, hayrides, pony rides and much more.
We also have many delicious varieties of May’s Farm Jams and Jellies, and you’ll love our fresh hot roasted sweet corn!”
