A medical themed haunted house, the Pennhurst Asylum has three main attractions: The Asylum, The Morgue and The Tunnels.
You will come across some hideous patients and unpleasant nurses in blood stained uniforms. Demented doctors doing experiments on terrified patients. Patients eating flesh of the dead creates a disturbing scene.
The smell is sickening and dark humor is used. Join the ‘Ghost Hunt’ tour and participate in the Paranormal activities investigation which goes beyond midnight.

Key Insights:
  • Every staff member was super nice and informative, you could tell that they were passionate about their jobs and wanted to raise awareness of what the place truly was.
  • I don't regret buying it and we were able to bypass those long line and get through all three attractions really quick with minimum people all crunch up on each other.
  • Dee was our tour guide and she was funny, knowledgeable and an avid lover of Penn Hurst and all paranormal.
  • One of the buildings was the infirmary which was actually very cool; We experienced quite some activity there including a metal thermostat plate being thrown across a room.
  • It was immediately obvious that the staff are very knowledgeable, invested in preserving a fair and honest history and ensuring that all visitors are being respectful to the experience of former residents (spiritually or otherwise) who have occupied these spaces.
