Allenholm Farm is Vermont’s oldest commercial apple orchard -it has been in the Allen family since 1870.
“Adjacent to the Petting Paddock is the Farm Store where you will find a colorful array of Vermont products, such as honey, maple syrup, and cheese. Allenholm Farm sells its own unsweetened Empire Applesauce and spiced Apple Butter, as well as homemade jams and jellies - their specialty is Crab Apple Jelly.
During the summer you can enjoy homegrown vegetables from the gardens, and delicious small fruits such as raspberries, blueberries, plums, peaches, sweet and sour cherries. The fall harvest brings in their apple crop, sweet cider, and the South Hero Applefest! Maple Creemees have become a favorite treat at Allenholm.
They take a vanilla soft-serve mix and add pure grade B maple syrup to it for an out-of-this-world flavor experience - cool, refreshing, and addictive!”

Key Insights:
They had lot of parking space and apple picking experience here was really good.. Get the lovely homemade cider slush, and especially the maple creamie.
Kids are big with the animals, especially "Willy" the donkey, he would take candy out of his owner's mouth and sometimes hang out at the front porch.
I really appreciate them selling pure products in the midst of the current massive food impregnation.. A maple creemee was the perfect tasty treat to wrap up a lovely Autumn day on the island!.
Friendly staff, great maple creemees, and outdoor sitting area- all the things necessary for an enjoyable summer stop!.
Superb food, superior maple creamies, great souvenirs, excellent service.. Cider slush is a deep favorite.
