At Marker Miller Orchards they warmly welcome all members of the family to visit and enjoy the stunning countryside surroundings, fresh air and fruit picking.
“Relax while sitting on the front porch in our rocking chairs and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery. Or go on an adventure, by purchasing containers and going out to pick your very own fruits and vegetables (check for availability throughout the season). We have many picnic tables, so feel free to pack a lunch or purchase food from our food building when it is open (every weekend July-October).
Pick your own schedule:
July:  peaches, red raspberries, blackberries, and tomatoes.
August:  peaches, red raspberries, blackberries, tomatoes, Ginger Gold apples and Gala apples
September & October: 12 varieties of apples, pumpkins, and winter squash”

Key Insights:
  • They also have fresh baked pies cakes cider donuts cookies scones really good and if you there I highly recommend you pick up a jar of their spiced peaches they are delicious.
  • The store sells lots of goodies, including cinnamon apple donuts they make on site, cider, pies, fruits, vegetables, etc.
  • It gets pretty crowded on the Apple Festival, so get there early, or you will be parking along the road.. Beautiful drive out to this farmers market.
  • Pick-your-own fruit, kids play area, outside eating areas, lots of items to buy (fruit, vegetables, jams and jellies, more and more), food to eat, and, oh my, ice cream, wonderful, wonderful ice cream lol take the time to go, all in your party will love it !.
  • You can go walk around, let the kids play on a big playground, sit at a picnic table and enjoy the view, all for free.
