Christmas Tree Farm Opening Dates for 2026
Most choose-and-cut farms open the weekend before or after Thanksgiving, and the best trees often go in the first few days. These farms have posted their 2026 opening dates on their own websites. We checked each one on October 1, 2026, so confirm hours, prices, and weather closures on the farm's site before you go.

- Measure your ceiling and tree stand before you leave, and leave room for the topper.
- Bring gloves, closed-toe boots, and rope or straps if the farm does not tie trees.
- Ask whether saws, shaking, baling, and netting are included.
- Check payment methods. Some small farms take only cash or local checks.
- Make a fresh cut at the base when you get home and keep the stand full of water.
