Welcome to Bluebird Farm Alpacas, “situated among the rolling Somerset Hills in Peapack, New Jersey. Our animals enjoy a bucolic 15-acre farm that snugs up against 175+ acres of adjacent farmlands. The hayfields blowing in the wind along with the sight of the alpacas pronking in the pasture is a sight to behold only 90 minutes from NYC. Who knew that a slice of heaven could be found just off of routes 78 and 287?

As owners and breeders, we have embraced the alpaca industry. Our foundation herd was selected from farms offering quality breeding stock, consistent conformation, recognized champion bloodlines and undeniably soft fleece. These characteristics are the foundation for our breeding program and the selection of our alpaca-related products.

You are invited to come and visit Bluebird Farm Alpacas to meet, interact with, photograph, or even adopt one of the cuddly creatures. We would be delighted to personally introduce you to the herd and their gentle endearing personalities.”

Jersey Shore Alpacas is a “small farm owned and operated by Jim and Tish Carpinelli, and located in Green Creek, a small town near historic Cape May, NJ.

We take pride in ensuring that our alpacas are cared for with the utmost attention to their health and happiness. Our farm focus is agritourism (farm tourism), and our alpacas are happy to oblige by enthusiastically greeting visitors!

We purchased our first alpacas in August of 2005, and after our barn and first paddocks were built, we brought Andina, Chanel #5 and Cherokee home in February 2006. Annabel Lee and Oliver Twist were born soon after, in July, and so our herd was up and running! It has grown to 18 alpacas, each with their own special personality.

Over the years, we have bred these lovely animals because we enjoy them so much, and also as a business. Alpacas’ beautiful fleece is very soft and warm, and makes wonderful sweaters, capes, hats, scarves, and other luxurious items. We have quite a selection of Peruvian alpaca products for sale in our farm store!”

Welcome to Edel Haus Farm, “an iconic gentleman’s farm that has been left largely intact from the early part of the century.  In 2010, we began developing the property and the farm in the hopes of creating a space for the community to enjoy, while also raising our now beloved alpacas.  Edel Haus farm provides a place for people to come and find peace with the animals, and take a break from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

Open from 11am to 4pm every Saturday year round, we invite all members of the public to stop by for a visit, spend time with our friendly herd of alpacas, and enjoy our beautiful 14 acres of land.  Community involvement is crucial to the mission of the farm, which is why we invite local groups on an appointment basis.  Whether it’s the Brownies, Boy Scouts, high school photography classes, special needs groups, or senior citizens’ outings, we welcome you to take advantage of all that Edel Haus has to offer.

Located just two miles from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in Monmouth County N.J. Edel Haus Farm is just west of Belmar, Spring Lake, and Sea Girt communities.  Many commonly refer to the area as Exit 98 and it is where the country meets the Shore.  We value the rich farm heritage that exists in the Garden State and we support the preservation of farmland.”

Welcome to Winding Creek Alpaca Farm! “We started on the alpaca journey in 2013 and had our starter farm in Southampton, NJ. Our herd of 22 huacaya alpacas are from some of the finest lineage in the country. We have recently relocated to a 22 ac farm in Egg Harbor Twp, NJ near the beautiful NJ shoreline. Since we have more pasture space on the new farm we decided to add mini donkeys to the farm in the Spring of 2021. They came all the way from Texas! We are located about 15 minutes from Ocean City, NJ.

The farm is run by Mike and Sheri von Fischer. Mike has been in the sales and service industry for 25 years. Sheri is a pediatric nurse who is currently working in the medical device sales arena. Our oldest daughter Brooke graduated from LIM with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She will be expanding the Alpaca clothing line in the farm store.

We take pride in raising happy, healthy, friendly animals who enjoy our company. Our mission is to breed only the finest alpacas and mini donkeys with good temperaments, educate the public about these wonderful creatures and to ensure our animals have long, healthy lives. We have a farm store on the premises where you can purchase gifts for your self or your loved one made from fine alpaca fiber. We also can host your next celebration on the farm!”
