Lincoln farm with about 50 acres of Christmas trees, including Douglas, Fraser, Korean, Canaan and balsam fir plus blue and white spruce. Pre-tagging runs from around the first weekend of October until the weekend before Thanksgiving, with hayrides and fall items. Visitors can come back to cut their tagged tree on a weekend they choose, or have it ready for pickup.

Butterfly Farm

Southern Rhode Island farm, about 35 minutes from Providence, where visitors harvest their own field-grown trees such as balsam, Fraser, Canaan and Concolor fir. The farm does not supply saws, but customers may bring a non-power saw; tagging is allowed and baling is free. The site lists 2026 hours but gives two different opening dates (November 19 and November 20).

Riverside Tree Farm

Wakefield choose-and-cut farm growing Fraser, Canaan, Douglas and Concolor fir. Staff hand visitors a saw, and can also help with the whole process. The 2025 season opened the Friday after Thanksgiving with Friday-to-Sunday hours until sold out.
