Goebberts Farm is the ultimate family fun destination for those wanting to embrace the pumpkin patch season!

“Goebbert’s is a family owned pumpkin patch and farm market, celebrating its 65th year in 2013. While the Farm and Garden Center is in South Barrington, Illinois, we have expanded our pumpkin patch in Hampshire, Illinois. We treat our employees as family and love our customers. If you have not been to our farm, we would love for you to give us a try.

In 1985, we purchased this 200 acre farm in Hampshire, Illinois. This location has a shorter season where we are open to the general public, but we are plenty busy throughout the entire year. Throughout our off-season, we are keeping up on maintenance work around the farm for our equipment and various buildings on the farm. Also, we are devoting quite a bit of time towards new ideas to make our farm & fall festival a better experience for you and your family.

We are a great place for families to come and have a great fall day. Come enjoy the animals, watch a pig race, see our famous Pumpkin Eating Dinosaur, have some lunch and pick out a pumpkin. We have plenty of fun attractions for the whole family! Also, make sure to stop by the Red Barn Café & Bakery for some tasty treats, including our famous Apple Cider Donuts and Pumpkin cookies.”

Kellers Farmstand is the place to get your falltime treats including toffee apples and pumkin pie!

“The fall season is our best and busiest time of year. Whether we’re harvesting our crops or holding our many fall activities, the farm becomes the season’s celebration of sights, smells, flavors and especially family fun. It also turns into Oswego’s autumn farmers market! Pick your own pumpkins in our sprawling Oswego pumpkin patch.

You can choose from different colors, shapes and sizes - perfect for carving jack ‘o lanterns. Plus you get to take each pumpkin home with part of the vine still attached for that fresh-from-the-field look. Just grab a wheelbarrow and head to the patch!”

L&A Family Farms have a sunflower maze, you-pick flower meadow, corn maze and pumpkin patch.

“We offer one of the Midwest’s traditional pastimes in the fall - a corn maze! Our 10-acre corn maze has a little bit of a twist, though. Rather than having all 10-acres make up one maze, we have four separate mazes within the field. There is one entrance/exit to the maze that leads into a courtyard. Once in the courtyard, you’ll see the separate paths/mazes to choose from, so you can spend as little or as much time as you want in the maze without having to walk through all ten acres.

ALRIGHT, WHO’S READY FOR A CHALLENGE AND A CHANCE TO WIN A PRIZE?

Hidden somewhere in each section of the maze, there is a sign that serves as a checkpoint for that maze. The checkpoints may have a fun fact or a certain task to complete on it. You’ll want to complete the task or write down/take a photo of the bold and underlined word or term on the sign. If you successfully report everything from the checkpoints back to the staff at the store, you’ll be able to spin the wheel, giving you a chance to win a prize!

Get ready for a lot of twists and turns if you plan to find all four checkpoints this year! A couple sections already have a reputation of being challenging by the farm’s grounds crew who have been mowing the maze this summer.”
