Underwood Family Farms is a “grower of a wide variety of fresh vegetable and fruits in Ventura County, California. We offer a wide variety of activities tailored for the entire family including pick-your-own produce, birthday parties at our Farm Animal Center, school tours, gift baskets (shipped anywhere in the United States,) and our Springtime, Fall Harvest and Christmas on the Farm.
Everyday, the mission of our team is to cultivate a relationship between the customer and the farm. We do that through direct marketing of high quality produce and positive farm experiences while adhering to the highest standards of ethics and integrity. We encourage our visitors to ask questions and give us their feedback.”
Pick Your Own
The Moorpark location offers tractor drawn wagon rides that are included with admission as well as pull wagons & wheelbarrows available. Pick your own produce includes lots of different vegetables, strawberries, tomatoes, avocado, blackberries, raspberries, sunflowers, oranges and lemons.
Fall Fun
In October you will find a corn maze and “gigantic Pumpkin Patch, Pick Your Own and 5 Themed Weekends of Live Entertainment & Family Fun”.
Christmas
Christmas on the Farm is a big event with visits from Santa too!
Why not pick up your Christmas tree while you are there? Fresh cut Noble, Grand, Fraser, Nordman and Douglas Fir Silver Tip Trees. Wreaths, garlands & all the fixings

Key Insights:
- So many animals, shows, rides, games, food, and they even allow you to pick your own fruit and vegetables.
- You can spend half day in vegetable gardens and kids can enjoy farm animals and rides.
- Make sure you are prepared to go to the farm with sunblocks and any bug bite procreation that you might use.. Let's face it - you go here for the experience.
- There's trains to take you to different picking stations (the tractor one is free of charge, the kids bumblebee one looks cooler but it's 4 tickets which is totally reasonable).
- It was $7 a person to get in and tickets are needed for goat petting and some other small attractions.. A great place to take the family, especially children, pick strawberries, blueberries, raspberry, squash flowers, zucchini, baby eggplants, all varieties of heirloom tomatoes....sunflowers, activities, rides and activities for smaller children , fresh fruits and veggies, make for a day very well spent!.
