When you take a trip to Fruit Basket Orchards in Colorado you can be sure if a fun day of fruit picking and a store packed full of delicious treats to pick from.
“Welcome to Fruit Basket Orchards, the only full service U-Pick orchard in western Colorado. Our motto is “pick, eat, repeat” and if it grows on our property, we’ll let you pick and take it home. We grow a little bit of everything, including all your favorite stone fruit (peaches, sweet cherries, tart cherries, nectarines, apricots, plums), raspberries, plus 18 varieties of apples.
We also grow table grapes and a few pears. Tasty treats in the store include; dried fruit, fruit rolls, freshly made jam, apricot-oatmeal bars, bags of frozen pitted tart cherries, and honey.”

- So charming.. We live up the street, you have no fruit except the apples now in the fall but you are sending off the "shots" for what?
- You're scaring the heck out of my dog and she's wetting the bed and won't come out of the closet !
- If peaches have brought you to Palisade, note that the season ends right around the first week of October..
- The day I was there, the internet wasn’t great and they were having trouble with card purchases.
