Back after a hiatus of 2 years, Hockessin Haunted House is ready to scare its victims in 2022.
Open just for four nights each year, this is a definitely must-visit. Spread over 3 floors of a house and its gardens. The mad scientist, the ugly looking clown and Mrs. Winchester are waiting for your arrival.
In the halls lurk some demons and ghosts. The Witches’ Den and the Hellevator, will make you scream your lungs out. It is a non-profit and the proceeds from the ticket sales go to an animal charity.

- Yes the wait can be long but you have to understand that it is in a private home and groups of people are taken through so everyone can get their own personal experience.
- We brought our twin 13 year old sons and I thought it may be too tame for them but the entire family had a great time!
- This is the first time going to the Hockessin Haunted House and wanted to try it especially because the proceeds go towards animal rescue.
- So for 2 1/2 hours waiting in the cold to spend 10-15 minutes inside and be rushed around, I'm not sure it was worth it even for the $5.
