Red Apple Farm

Apple Picking
+1 978-249-6763
You haven’t experienced fall in New England until you’ve picked your own perfectly ripe apple. Red Apple Farm can help you with that!
“It’s a fall tradition! There’s nothing like the taste of an apple you’ve picked yourself - or a pie made up of them for that matter. You might even discover a new favorite apple - we grow many varieties, some that you may have never heard of before!
Enjoy a true New England tradition we are proud to finally offer. Situated right off scenic Route 2 in the heart of North Central Massachusetts, the orchard boasts views of Wachusett Mountain and sprawling fields outlined by untouched forests. Every year our fruit is grown using Integrated Pest Management with conscious thought to people and the environment. Visit the farm, pick your own fruit, stop in to the Country Store for locally produced specialty foods, and don’t leave without trying our famous cider donuts and homemade fudge.
Our Cidery pours our very own Hard Cider in traditional and seasonal flavors, as well as non-alcoholic drink options, from Memorial Day weekend through the end of the fall PYO season.  An adjacent deck and Grotto area below allow you to enjoy your cold pint while enjoying the farm’s natural beauty.”

Key Insights:
  • Saturday night had live music and we had so much fun getting dinner, some house ciders, listening to the band, while the kids played in the sand pit and visited with the animals.
  • Their craft beer is awesome, the apple cider donuts are out of this world and the animals are a huge attraction which my puppy loved!!!.
  • The brickoven pizza vendor did have a 45 minute wait window, which is too bad bc I would have loved to try it but it was almost nap time for the baby.
  • The menu is great, all of the staff are still incredibly helpful, there is still quality live music in a wide range of genres, the farm animals are still great with kids and well behaved, the homemade ice cream is terrific, their homemade apple cider (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) is excellent, and they still make apple cider slushies!!
  • They still have soft drinks, a wide selection of locally brewed beers, as well as wine, there's BBQ and wood-fired pizza, corn hole, and multiple, enormous, sand box-type play areas for the kids.
