Whittakers Berry Farm
Strawberry Picking
Seasons, hours, and prices change. Please confirm with the farm before visiting.
Berries are a family passion at Whittakers Berry Farm and they invite you and your family to enjoy picking strawberries at their farm in Michigan.
“Our parents instilled their farming knowledge and passion for finding the “best berries” in all of us here at Whittaker’s Berry Farm. We figure that it’s in our blood! Your patronage helps us to preserve something we believe in whole-heartedly, The Family Farm. Children love to pick berries, so we encourage the whole family to come out, learn from us, and enjoy the farm experience!
Harvest normally begins the first week of June. An average season only lasts approximately 18 days, depending on MOTHER NATURE! Once the berries begin to ripen, they don’t stop for anything or anybody!
Upon arrival at the farm you will be met with a cheerful face, who will supply you with complimentary containers. If you chose to pick your own berries, you will be directed to a field member who will show you where to park, and assign you picking rows, which have never been picked, or touched in several days, ensuring the best possible picking! ”
