Eastfields Farms is a quaint 1800s waterfront farm located in beautiful Mathews. Started in 1984 we now specialize in blueberries and aquaculture.
We offer pick your own spray free blueberries in a chemical free environment. We are open July and August. Picking containers are provided. Please bring a take home box(low flat box). Picnic area and bathroom available.
We are a recipient of Virginia’s Clean Water Farm Award.

- The location is near the East River in Mathews County through a series of turns through lovely wooded roads.
- Every year our large family picks about fifteen gallons to eat fresh and to freeze.
- Asparagus will be in season soon and they are taking orders.. East field farms is an amazing experience.
- Also, just FYI, blueberries are ripe in the heat of the hot, humid Virginia summer, so don't forget a hat, sunblock and water if you'll be picking for awhile.. Spray free blueberries, all of the income from this day's picking goes to the Gloucester Mathews Humane Society.
- You need to check their Facebook page before you go to make sure they are open as it is an elderly husband and his wife who operate it.
