We have two different varieties to satisfy your sweet tooth. - Medium to large size , vivid glossy red in color, sweet and very juicy.- Medium to bright red in color, large in size, characterized by its exceptionally sweet flavor. Keep in mind that not all varieties are available all season long. Please only pick the red colored berries, all other shades (including white, green, pink or a combo of them) need more time to fully ripen on the bush before they are harvested.”

For over 50 years, Burr’s Berry Farm has been supplying the community with thousands of berries. This farm is known for its delicious berries, and it’s open every day. If you’re not quite ready to pick berries in a traditional manner, this farm has a vertical growing system that allows customers to do so while standing up. It’s not just berry picking!!

One of South Florida’s longest-running and most elaborate attractions is Burry’s Berry Farm, which features a tropical garden, a hot dog stand, and a market selling berries and other home-made products. Since 1965, it has been the most popular farm in the area. The farm also frequently features a variety of seasonal crops, such as giant pumpkins. Families can often be found filling up baskets with fruits and vegetables, as well as walking through the corn mazes and through the farm’s acres of seasonal crops.

The farm was established in 1947 as a cattle ranch and orange grove and eventually became a blueberry farm in 1994, when the first few acres were planted. Since then the blueberry fields have grown to several dozen acres and multiple varieties of berries. Strawberry fields were added in 2019 and we’re currently expanding into peaches and other produce. The birth story of Knaus Berry Farm is a charming one, and this farm is a super destination choice for all the family to enjoy a day our in the countryside picking strawberries.

“In 1956, brothers Ray and Russell Knaus began raising strawberries together in the Redland of South Florida. They set up a small roadside stand near the current Knaus Berry Farm location to sell their berries. Some of their strawberries were sold through a broker who tasted the cookies made by Ray’s wife, Barbara. He told her that they were good enough to sell. Over the years—along with the strawberries—assorted baked goods, vegetables, and ice cream have become available for sale at Knaus Berry Farm. Knaus Berry Farm also has U-Pick strawberries and tomatoes, availability permitting. It’s been said that there are only two seasons in South Florida — when the Knaus Berry Farm bakery is open and when it’s closed.”
