Herrick Tree Farm in Boxford has offered choose-and-cut Christmas trees since 1965, on land that is part of a community forest. For 2026, cut-your-own trees are tagged only, with tagging starting October 1, and most field trees 6 feet or larger are Concolor fir. Pre-cut Balsam and Fraser fir from Vermont and Canada are also sold.
